Making the right diagnosis

Diagnoses

An optimally functioning drive system stands or falls with the correct diagnosis. This also applies to all associated components. We offer many options in the field of diagnosis. We do this both at your premises and in our workshop, where we perform general diagnoses, damage diagnoses and functional tests. We use a diagnosis to map out the source of any defects. Because every diagnosis is different, our mechanics always visit you first to assess the situation, after which possible causes are reported. Once we have a clear diagnosis, we immediately offer advice, so your drive system or component can be repaired or overhauled. If it is not possible to make an on-site diagnosis, we can remove your engine or component and subject it to an extensive diagnosis on one of our test benches or high-tech test stand. By using calibrated measuring equipment, we will always arrive at a correct diagnosis.

A diagnosis is therefore situation-dependent. That is why our mechanics have acquired the necessary knowledge and experience to make the correct diagnosis for different makes. We perform diagnostics for engines, as well as other rail-related components from almost all major makes, including MTU, Mercedes, Deutz, DAF, Bosch, Denison-Parker, Knorr-Bremse, BorgWarner, ZF, Voith, Gmeinder, Behr, Cummins, Caterpillar.  Can’t see your brand? We’re happy to discuss a proper diagnosis.

Extensive data history

We inspect your drive system or component in detail before issuing any advice. If required, we can also provide reports, detailing each diagnosis. We store this valuable information, so your data history is always transparent and shows the maintenance progress. This way, we offer you a full-service solution.

Autonomous test stand

In our workshop, we can subject drive systems and components to extensive testing. We can make use of our hydraulic test benches and fully autonomous test stand, which is equipped with two Power Test water brakes to measure performance.

Fully certified

We have various quality and safety standards, including ISO 9001 and a specific rail sector ISO standard, TS 22163. Our mechanics are also all in the possession of a VCA/SCC certificate.
